UC Athletics Allows Alex Daniels to Join Football Team

7/3/2008 - University of Cincinnati Director of Athletics Mike Thomas announced today that UC student Alex Daniels will join the Bearcats' football team and begin summer workouts in preparation for the 2008 season. Daniels transferred to UC after being dismissed last year from the University of Minnesota football team. (more)

Paqui Kelly, wife of head football coach Brian Kelly and Jeni Thomas, the wife of Director of Athletics Mike Thomas with assistance from the University of Cincinnati football coaching staff delighted a record crowd with the basics and insight into college football as they hosted the Third Annual Women's Football 101 Clinic at Nippert Stadium. The proceeds from the event benefits the University of Cincinnati Breast Cancer Research Foundation affiliated with UC's Charles M. Barrett Cancer Center. (more)
