Former Bearcats Star Wineberg earns spot on U.S. Olympic Team

7/4/2008 - Former University of Cincinnati track star Mary Wineberg earned a spot on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team, which will compete at this summer's Beijing Olympics, by finishing second in the 400 meters with a time of 50.85. She finished one second behind the world's No. 1-ranked Sanya Richards (49.98). (more)

Former Bearcat Wineberg Qualifies for 400-meter Finals at U.S. Olympic Trials

7/1/2008 - After winning her second straight heat last night at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., former University of Cincinnati track star Mary Wineberg has qualified for the finals of the 400 meters. Her time of 50.57 in last night's semifinal heat was the fastest among all finalists. (more)
